Tuesday Lecture

Today's lecture interested me a lot. The guy talking did a lot with the sunlight and exposing papers and just experimenting with all the elements he was using. Also he did a lot with fibers as well. The first picture he showed us of one of his works was very intriguing. It was basically a mesh of fiber that ended up looking like some type of big nest. Also some of his work was very simple but it really caught my attention because of how simple it was. I love when a piece of work pops up on a screen and I say to myself...is that really it?...and then I start looking at it more just to figure it out and I find so many things about it that interest me. Even though there wasn't a lot of people at this lecture and I'm not going to lie I was tempted to leave myself, because really there was about three rows full of people and the rest of the hall was empty, but I'm glad I stayed. Also the guy speaking really gave us time to just look at his work and think about it and then he would go into a brief explanation, and then let us think about it and wonder more into depth about the piece of work. Overall I was very interested in this lecture.
